“Papa Screp” is the nom de guerre given to me by a soccer mom a few years back to differentiate me from my son, who was an award-winning head coach of the Springfield Varsity Boys Soccer Team. My son has since moved on from coaching and now is the Athletic Director for Springfield High School. I used to help coach the boys but I too have advanced; I now help coach the Lady Blue Devils Soccer Team.
I also coach an adult “Skills” basketball team for the Special Olympics of Lucas County.
I serve my church as Head Elder.
I was an electrical engineer for 37 years, retiring in 2017. Now I do what I want.
